I'd venture to guess that your top 10 will change a lot in the next few weeks. The top 4 are pretty good and 2-4 could be switched different ways from there to the 10 is where I'd shake it up. GC will be fine on O if the D can be shored up they will be fine. If Caleb hadn't gotten injured last season the Blues would have tagged at least 60 on GC and we couln't even score on em. I think our O is better this season, but so is theirs.
Burton was up 52-7 with 8:00 minutes to go in the 4th. They were up 40-0 at the half and the second team was starting the 3rd quarter. Castlewood turned the ball over at least 5 or 6 times tonight. Burton looked really good but I wish the starters could have played more than 2 quarters with Appy coming up next week.

He probably hasn't but I'd hate to meet up with one who is better. Big kid, good arm, good running ability, and very smart. Knows when to pass and when to tuck it in. Doesn't make any (that I saw) bad decisions. But maybe you have heard of one who is better?

They scored at will last year too. Their TB was hurt on the first series last season or it would have been much worse. But, if it's any consolation, I'd say they will score a bunch on a lot of teams. Maybe a certain school in Green could schedule them some day.

gate city will be fine.everyone goes through a growing season every once in a while.they are well coached and the program knows how to win.they got beat by a very good and i mean very good richlands team.gate city will continue to get better and will be a contender for the lpd title.

We had them a couple years ago. We beat them pretty handily at home and lost by about 2 tds over there.
It you have a problem with burrhead, please leave your comments to him and not the kids at Clintwood nor the program.

I know some fine people over in Dickenson County, Clintwood especially. To me he doesn't represent those quality individuals I am fortunate enough to know.
Unfortunately though, a lot of people do and will have him representing the Clintwood fan base. That's just the viewpoint some people take.
Congrats to Clintwood on the big win tonight over a tough Grundy squad! Sounds like the Greenwave is loaded for bear this season!

I will say one thing. Back when i played there in 79. Some of the best folks around.
We jumped out to a lead only to lose to Clintwood. But the folks were super. They come to the field and congratulated us on a great game.
It is a different bunch now. But back when Ralph was there. There was a bigger degree of respect shown to all. Greenwave teams and opposing teams. And the things said here Ralph would, have done called a few into a meeting, took care of business.
But that was then and this is now.

Actually I think it was either their first or second score that Dockery didn't get but he did set the illegal pick on or db and the inside reciever walked on down the field with nobody covering him, one staight out of Kentucky's playbook.

I was a little embarassed last night at the Burton game. With the game well in hand some stuff I heard from our fans along the fence was way out of line. I mean you are up by 40 on a group of kids there is no need to belittle them with taunts from the fence line from so called fans. It is one thing to shout, scream and carry on in a tight game but in a blow out when the game is well in hand to just belittle the kids and a program is just poor sportsmanship.

I seen that dockery came up and started blocking him and the dude just took off down the field. Is that Illegal ive played football for a long time but ive never seen it happen? Maybe that's because i was a lineman [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
